How about an outdoor water party in July? Perfect time to celebrate Mar Mar turning the big nine years old! Lots of cousins and aunts and uncles from both sides of the family came out to play water games and eat cake. The sun cake and sunflower bundt cake were a hit as well as the lemonade stand which we opened for the party. Lemonade, Laffy Taffy, Licorice Ropes, cotton candy, giant bubblegum, and pixi stix were awarded to all those who earned tickets. We had a waterballoon toss, an obstacle course ending with dressing like a hula girl, and water cup and sponge relay games. Mar got the cutest jewelry holder that her Uncle AJ made and scored with some cold hard cash too. Thanks to all the family for making this such a fun birthday! We love you Mar Mar!
